We got the attention of a traveling merchant. He got us out of the statue’s shrine with his rope, and we got to our jeep and drove off with all our photographic evidence of a now-proven myth. My friend and I have Twitter accounts, which will give us more details. It will feature pictures of the event and our current discoveries, including the martyr hero statue. I wish to explore more of the temple area, such as the location of the famous battle where the martyr hero died. There are so many rumors that now seem more plausible.
