Just Arrived

I just arrived in south Mexico. I looked for a hotel room to wait for a friend, a native Mexican archeologist. He was very interested in finding information about a particular era of Mesoamerica that people have called a myth. We decided to find a site that was the setting of the final battle between the first old-world people and the first new-world resistance army. There were many resistance armies during the old-world conquest, but the first is the most notable. The new world was conquered for twenty years until the emperor’s son grew up, fought for his people, and became a martyr for the resistance.
